Mr. Carpenter joined Apartment Bank in June 2010 and has spent over 25 years in banking and income property lending fields. Prior to joining Apartment Bank he was a Senior Loan Consultant for Alliant Capital LLC a leading multifamily debt and equity financier and Fannie Mae DUS Lender. Mr. Carpenter was responsible for originating new loan production in California and the Western United States under the Fannie Mae DUS and 3 MAX Programs.
As Senior Vice President of MetroPacific Bank in Irvine, CA, Mr. Carpenter headed the production of multifamily and commercial lending for the bank. Prior to MetroPacific Bank Mr. Carpenter spent 7 years as Vice President of Income Property Lending for First Federal Bank of California. Mr. Carpenter is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
